Gallery reopening on 23rd May

We are so pleased to announce the long awaited reopening of the gallery on 23rd May.

This co incides with the 80th Anniversary of Sime’s death -22nd May 1941- and will be attended by the Mayor of Guildford who will also unveil a supurb Sime Memorial ‘Star’ Banner made by 22 volunteers (including Arts Society members) during Lockdown.

Booking is now open for gallery visits, and also for a guided Sime Heritage Trail on Sunday 23rd May. The trail is in conjunction with Guildford Arts Society to mark the occasion.

Details of the trail with Sara and Martyn can be found on the link below. Booking is essential. Members can email Mary directly (as it’s rather short notice). WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE PEOPLE!

We will also be opening the ‘Ta Ta’ cafe for teas and cake during visits.

We are grateful to people who buy lottery tickets as the National Lottery Heritage Emergency Fund has enabled us to create this website and support us during the COVID lockdowns. It has been a ‘life saver’ frankly.

From May 23rd we will be open on Sundays and Wednesdays 2-4pm. You can pre book your visit via the website here or by phoning 07415 372 620.
