Support us

Donate today

The Sime Gallery and its collection are unique and preserve the legacy of a remarkable artist, illustrator and caricaturist. But with many of the works of art more than 100 years old they are in need of repair and conservation. We depend on contributions from our donors to help to care for them and secure the future of the gallery.

The gallery is a registered charity and receives no regular funding from the government or statutory grant giving bodies. Each and every donation makes an important contribution to our work, especially during this period of enforced closure due to COVID-19 which has resulted in a loss in income.

We hope you will consider making a donation to the gallery so we can preserve these exceptional works of art and tell the fascinating story of the Master of the Mysterious.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid will add a further 25% at no additional cost to you, making your donation work even harder. You will be directed to a simple form to fill in after making your donation so that we can claim this. The  receipt of payment will be emailed to yourself for your records.

Sponsor a Sime

Sponsor one of Sime’s art works and you will be contributing to its repair and conservation so that it can be displayed again. Sponsorship can mark the celebration of a wedding anniversary or birthday, the memory of a loved one or simply because you have a connection to a particular piece.

In recognition of your generosity we will display your name alongside the painting, illustration or drawing once it is conserved and displayed and you will receive a certificate of sponsorship. Your name will also appear on the Thank you page on our website.

To sponsor an artwork please choose one of the art works for sponsorship below and email the gallery at enquiries@sidneysimegallery.org.uk or call us on 07415 372 620.
