We regret to advise the Gallery is CLOSED on EASTER SUNDAY to give our volunteers time to be with their families but we will be open again on Wednesday 3rd April 2-4.00 p.m. and thereafter as normal.

The Sime Gallery is normally open weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays from 2–4pm and, during August, we are able to open the gallery for more dates and times. Please get in touch for more information.  There is no need to book but if you would like to let us know you are coming please text or call 07415372620 or email us on enquiries@sidneysimegallery.org.uk.

Admission is free but as the Sime Gallery receives no regular funding, we would be very grateful if you would consider a £3 donation.

A small range of items are available to purchase. Drinks and cakes/biscuits are also available.

Regrettably the Gallery is not accessible for wheelchair users – there are handrails on the stairs and there is an accessible toilet downstairs.   We are able to bring items down for people to view.

Group Visits

Group visits are welcomed and can be tailored to the needs of each group. 

All visits of six or more people should be pre-booked, so please enter your details in the form below, call or text 07415 372620, or email us on enquiries@sidneysimegallery.org.uk . 

You can select one of the following options for your visit, please make sure to select the preference for your group. Thank you.

A) Just a visit – tea/coffee and cakes always available by donation
B) Visit with talk, plus tea/coffee and cakes – £7.50 per person
C) Visit with talk, plus tour of the historic, Grade I listed St. Mary’s church, where Sidney Sime is buried, plus tea/coffee and cakes – £12.50 per person.

For (B) and (C) above we need to check availability of appropriate volunteers to give you the best talk and tour experience
