Joss had to postpone his visit last year because of the covid restrictions. He had been very impressed with the Sime Gallery new website and had seen recent news articles and took a keen interest in Sime’s varied artwork. He even said the volunteer could be on mastermind with their knowledge of Sime.
We did of course smile about Sime new corporate colours being a very similar turquoise to Guildford Borough Council taxi. There are very few art galleries in the Borough of Guildford and Cllr Bigmore made reference to it being “what a hidden gem” and thanked his tour guide.
