The Trustees of the gallery are most grateful to Worplesdon Parish Council for a grant which has been spent on new display cases which enables previously unseen works to be put on display.  The Grant will also cover the cost of production of a new book about the local cariacatures that Sime drew in the New Inn, in the 1920s.  He wrote an article about these, published in 1926.    We were pleased to welcome one local resident who found that she was related to one of the cariacatures and who was delighted to learn more about her ancestor.
