Mary and Jan spend an enjoyable afternoon talking to 45 visitors from U3A Farnham about the life and works of Sidney Sime

Mary Sime, widow of Sidney, gifted his artwork to Worplesdon Memorial Hall following his death. Today it is the CIO incorporated organisation.
Over 100 people attended the opening night reception at the Chris Beetles Gallery in Mayfair featuring 80 pieces of Sime’s artwork.
We are once again running a half term workshop for children aged 4-12, this year on Thursday 15th February 2.00 -4.00 p.m.
We are delighted that Marilyn Scott, one of our Trustees, has been appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey

Jan has moved from the village to deepest darkest Sussex but is remaining a devoted Trustee of the Gallery.
Professor Frances Spalding CBE gave us a most interesting talk about English Art between the two world wars
We are extending our Art Workshop to include adults and children – all ages welcome. Sunday 29th October 2.00 – 4.00 p.m.
